Hotel Meghniwas

Accommodation: This family home was built in 1948 by the late Brigadier Jaswant Singh. The name literally means “a house in the clouds.” The property is now owned and managed by the Brigadier's son, Colonel Fateh Singh and his wife, Indu Singh. There are five suites for you to choose from. the suites offer either separate living room and bedroom, or one extra large room with sleeping and living areas ideal for families with young children. All rooms offer 19th-century period-style furniture, work desks, air-conditioning, attached European-style bathrooms, wi-fi, mini bar, direct dial international access phones, multi-channel cable TV, and electronic safe.

Experience: There's a large lawn and garden in the front of the house for you to enjoy. It's perfect for lounging and reading a book or soaking up the sun in the winter months. At the rear is the pool area with an attached lawn and garden. You can have a fresh lime soda at one of the café tables and watch a variety of birds, sometimes even peacocks, come quench their thirst in the water.

Dining: When you dine at Hotel Meghniwas, you'll enjoy fresh healthy home-cooked food. All of the dairy products and most of the vegetables and fruits served come from a farm, not far from Jaipur.
